Get Involved
Volunteers are the life and blood of F.I.S.H. Without our volunteers, we would be unable to help our island neighbors. Our volunteers are full and part-time residents, retired and working. Some volunteers help in one service area, others in several. Some can only give mornings or afternoons or certain days of the week; others are available all day long on one day of the week.
Opportunities- There are always multiple opportunities for anyone to have involvement at FISH. With so many possibilities anyone is bound to find a good fit for them to get involved.
FISH is always looking for volunteers to help with:
- Walk In Center
- Telephones
- Transportation ON/OFF island
- Client visitation
- Meal delivery
- Equipment delivery/ pick-up
- Computer assistance
- Data entry
- The Food Pantry
- Hurricane Information Committee
- Events
- Ad Hoc Committee
To learn more about volunteer opportunities, please call F.I.S.H. at (239) 472-4775. Or, drop by the Walk-In Center, 1630 Periwinkle Way, Unit B, and fill out a volunteer application and skills form. We would love to meet you!
